Issue Number: Tax Tip 2024-22Taxpayers: Get accessible tax info and forms from the IRS Alternative Media Center The IRS Alternative Media Center provides a variety of accessible services to help people who use assistive technology such as screen reading software, refreshable Braille displays, screen magnifying software and voice recognition software. Anyone can view and download hundreds of tax forms and publications in alternative formats, including:
The Alternative Media Center works to make IRS resources as accessible as possible, but not every product is available in all formats. Large print products are available in a variety of languages, including English and Spanish. Right now, Braille and accessible PDFs are available only in English and Spanish. Get accessible tax products Request tax notices in accessible formats Taxpayers can complete Form 1040, Schedule LEP, to request accessible notices in their preferred language. Currently, Spanish is the only other language that the Alternative Media Center can provide. Call the Accessibility Helpline for answers to tax questions
